BACKGROUND:

I am a freelance textile artist and embroiderer trained by City & Guilds tutors Vicky Lugg and Ros Chilcot. I then took a Diploma in the History of Art & Design at Brighton Museum. I am a founder member of the In Stitches Exhibiting Group and a past chairman of Guildford Embroiderers' Guild.

My work is in private collections both in the UK and abroad, and I have exhibited regularly for several years. I teach private classes and workshops and give talks and lectures to guilds and City & Guilds students. The range of my work covers pictures, wallhangings, cards, bags and small three-dimensional gifts such as spice cones.
