This original design is the centre piece of a 9-piece felt 'Zoo' made by members of In Stitches in primary coloured felts and threads. All the amusing animals have been carefully selected for this wallhanging which was presented to Rainbow House at Bookham, which supports families with terminally ill children.

This series of mini-pictures is based on shells, rock-pools and the seashore using metal threads and goldwork techniques such as couching. Silks, sheers and muslin are dipped into gold paint for background effects.

DREAMCATCHER

This is a floating silk wallhanging. The silk has been random-dyed and printed, and small metal squares and feathers feature in the design.
